Hoping everyone is safe and well out there as we head into 2022 and the new Covid experience that is Omicron in NZ.

Here at Armageddon HQ we have been working hard on this year’s events and have been looking forward to finally getting back out there, however it is apparent that in the current Covid situation and the red settings, that while it may be possible to hold the Christchurch and Wellington events in March/April, it is looking unlikely and even if we can make it happen, holding events shortly after an outbreak would be unwise.

And so we have made the early decision to move some events around so that our fans and exhibitors can plan their year better.

The new dates for 2022 are as follows…

AUCKLAND WINTER – JUNE 10-12TH

TAURANGA – JULY 23/24TH

PALMERSTON NORTH – AUGUST 6/7TH

AUCKLAND SPRING – OCTOBER 21-24TH

WELLINGTON – DECEMBER 3/4TH

CHRISTCHURCH – DECEMBER 10/11TH

With the Governments recent border announcements, we are also hoping to finally be able to host some international guests. Unfortunately the timing does mean that we won’t be able to host guests physically at the June event, however we are working on some great anime aspects that we can make happen with virtual guests.

We should be hosting animation guests for Tauranga and Palmerston North and have just booked our first media guest for Auckland Spring, so there are new things coming.
